Wellbeing and beauty workshops
In our experience, addressing the mental wellbeing of participants complements the serious stuff. Advocacy can be stressful therefore, from time to time we facilitate beauty and wellbeing sessions and workshops. These also provide peer to peer support and reduce isolation. We use natural ingredients which are permitted for use in natural skincare including vegan or halal options. We have learnt over the years that there is more to life than just having information at the right time. Sometimes, we just need time to pamper ourselves and socialise with others. When combined with advocacy workshops,these lead to increased attendance and partipation in the our programmes with the ultimate aim of participants learning new skills.

Examples of workshops are for: people with additional needs, disabilities, carers groups, young carers, mothers and daughters, siblings, men only, team building and away days. At the end of sessions, participants can take home the items they have made.
